Specializing in furniture up-cycling, we love to take a love hand-me-down items and turn them into something new functional and modern, keeping TONS of waste out of our landfills. Commissioned projects are welcomed and free estimates are gladly provided.

Hello POPPERS. Thank you for visiting our little shop!!! We are a custom apparel, handmade home decor and craft gift shop, located just outside of the Sacramento Valley, in California.
Beginning as a collection of hobbies, accumulated by the company's designer and owner, Joyce Brown Hollis around the age of eight, her current skills include sewing, crochet, furniture refurbishing, resin art, jewelry making, designing home decor, and interior design, just to name a few.
In 2011, this self taught seamstress presented her first fashion collection and participated in Sacramento Fashion Week in 2012, and continued to design for numerous other Northern California Fashion Shows.
In 2017, with 2 major gifts from Mr.Hollis, (a commercial sewing machine and a plotter), from her in-home studio, The POP Handmade & Tees was born. Starting with furniture and home decor, The POP rented a small space in a Galt consignment store and later placed items in The Galt Gettin’ It Place, where you can still find their unique one of a kind products.
The POP also began to offer custom apparel items to local and internet consumers.
Additionally, Carl Hollis, (Joyce’s husband) took over marketing, customer service, marketing and sales, allowing Joyce more time to create new, unique and artistic products.
In August 2020, The POP Handmade & Tees hit the road,vending at pop-up events all over Northern California, where consumers can see their wares in person, place custom orders and talk to the designer herself. The POP is currently planning additional vendor pop-up shops throughout the entire west coast region.
